Joining the Community

As churches grow in size, they often lose that feeling of intimacy.  It becomes easier to get lost in the sea of people on Sundays.  And typically, it becomes harder and harder for people to get plugged in.  This experience is inevitable in larger, corporate settings.  However, when this happens, it becomes difficult for well-meaning Christians to realize the biblical teaching that we need to dwell in personal community with our brothers and sisters in Christ.  New Mercy takes this teaching seriously, and so we’ve built into our church different ways that people can bridge the intimacy and community gap when they participate in our church.
