Join Our Summer Movement

At New Mercy, our missional efforts are spread out over the course of a year. We find that this allows us to reach a greater number of regions and it affords congregants more opportunities to get involved. Also, different regions are more conducive for missional work during different seasons. If this summer or upcoming winter does not fit your schedule or if you do not feel called to the particular countries in these seasons, there will be more opportunities throughout the year.

We are excited to announce that in the Summer of 2012 our missional efforts will include the Ivory Coast and East Asia.  Join us as we join God’s movement in these regions. Find out the details below.

Ivory Coast

NMCC has a long-term missional partnership with Abidjan International Ministries (AIM) based in the Ivory Coast. Each summer we provide vacation bible school (VBS) for various regions—children’s ministries are rare in the country. In addition, we provide health services, including hernia surgeries and surgeon training. We also spend time in evangelism, church revivals, and planting churches. AIM has planted 40+ churches in the Ivory Coast and a seminary, and our partnership has resulted in a church plant in one of the poorest areas. • Dates:  June 22nd – July 6th

• Cost:  Deposit – $700 spread over three installments.   Fundraising Goal – $1800 (on top of deposit).

East Asia

Because of safety concerns for the long-term missionaries in this region, we cannot reveal the specifics regarding this trip.  However, we have been going to this region for the past four years, and it is an extremely exciting trip.
